The Israeli delegation is being brought to Maryland as part of a special grant through the State of Maryland and US-Israel Bi-national Agricultural Research and Development Foundation (BARD).  University Of Maryland Center Of Marine Biotechnology (soon to be renamed the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology) is an internationally recognized research laboratory that works to study, protect and enhance marine and estuarine resources.

Israel's innovation strikes again. Come hear about the leading electric car project in the world. Michael Granoff, principal investor in Better Place , will speak about this fascinating electric car concept. Granoff and founder Shai Agassi want to reduce the world's dependence on oil by creating an effective electric smart car with the necessary national network of recharging infrastructure.
