Why Innovation is Thriving in Israel

Todd Dollinger, CEO of the Trendlines Group in Israel, recently shared his thoughts on MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan show on why innovation is thriving in Israel. The Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC) has been partnering with the Trendlines Group for more than 15 years to promote business between Israeli and Maryland companies. This past year, the MIDC and Trendlines formed the Maryland/Israel Trendlines Fund to provide seed money for innovative early-stage Israeli companies in the life sciences, bio-tech, med-tech and clean-tech industries.

Todd briefly explained key differences between the United States and Israel on supporting start-up companies. Trendlines not only invests in the start-up companies, they also provide an in-house business development consultancy, which guides and supports its portfolio companies entering U.S and global markets.  Trendlines successfully utilizes a three-pronged approach for investors, for entrepreneurs and for growing companies.
